Welcome to Archive Reserve (“Archive Reserve,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Archive Reserve website, including purchases made through our Shopify store.
1. Our Items
Archive Reserve sells collectible, vintage, archival, luxury, designer, entertainment, and movie memorabilia items. Many items are pre-owned, vintage, rare, one-of-a-kind, production-used, or consigned.
We make reasonable efforts to describe and photograph each item accurately. Buyers are responsible for reviewing the entire listing, including photographs, measurements, condition notes, provenance information, certificates, and included accessories, before purchasing.
Vintage and collectible items may show age-related wear, fading, discoloration, repairs, restoration, storage marks, odor, material aging, or other characteristics consistent with their age and history. Unless specifically stated, Archive Reserve does not guarantee an item’s future value, investment value, rarity, or suitability for a particular purpose.
2. Authenticity and Provenance
Archive Reserve takes authenticity seriously. We make reasonable efforts to research, inspect, document, and accurately represent the items we offer.
When available, listings may include provenance information, production records, certificates, letters of authenticity, authentication opinions, receipts, photographs, or other supporting documents.
Authentication documents and opinions are provided for informational purposes and reflect the information available to Archive Reserve at the time of review. No authentication process can guarantee that an item will never be challenged in the future.
If you believe an item has been materially misrepresented as to authenticity, contact us within the applicable return period. We may request additional information or require review by an independent authenticator selected or approved by Archive Reserve.
3. Orders and Order Acceptance
Submitting an order constitutes an offer to purchase. An order is not accepted until payment has been authorized and Archive Reserve confirms the order.
Archive Reserve may decline, cancel, or limit an order when reasonably necessary, including because of:

Inventory errors;

Pricing or listing errors;

Payment problems;
-
Suspected fraud or unauthorized activity;
-
Shipping restrictions;
-
Duplicate orders;
-
Marketplace or legal restrictions; or
-
An item becoming unavailable.
If we cancel an order after payment has been received, we will issue a refund to the original payment method.
4. Pricing and Listing Errors
Prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.
Archive Reserve may correct typographical errors, inaccurate descriptions, pricing errors, shipping-rate errors, or inventory errors at any time. If a material error affects your order, we may contact you to confirm whether you wish to proceed at the corrected price or cancel the order and receive a refund.
5. Payment
Available payment methods are shown at checkout and may include credit cards, debit cards, Shopify Payments, Shop Pay, PayPal, and other payment methods supported by Shopify.
For certain high-value purchases, Archive Reserve may require additional verification, a signed invoice, confirmed billing information, or payment by bank wire before releasing the item.
Items will not ship until payment has been authorized and fully confirmed.
6. Sales Tax
Applicable sales tax and other transaction-based taxes will be calculated and collected at checkout when required by law.
7. Shipping
Shipping terms are governed by our Shipping Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms & Conditions.
8. Returns and Buyer Protection
Eligible purchases are generally covered by Archive Reserve’s 30-day return policy. The return period begins on the confirmed delivery date.

9. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Please contact Archive Reserve before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute so we can attempt to resolve the issue.
If a chargeback, unauthorized-payment claim, or payment dispute is filed, Archive Reserve may provide the payment processor, bank, or marketplace with relevant transaction information, including:

Order records;

Customer communications;
-
Listing photographs and descriptions;
-
Tracking information;
-
Delivery confirmation;
-
Return records;
-
Authentication or provenance documentation; and
-
Other information reasonably related to the transaction.
10. Prohibited Conduct
You may not use the Site to:

Violate any law or regulation;

Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information;

Purchase an item using unauthorized payment information;
-
Interfere with the operation or security of the Site;
-
Attempt to access another person’s account or information;
-
Copy, scrape, reproduce, or commercially exploit Site content without permission;

Use Archive Reserve’s name, photographs, trademarks, or content without written authorization; or
-
Engage in abusive, threatening, harassing, or fraudulent conduct.
11. Intellectual Property
The Archive Reserve name, logo, photographs, product descriptions, graphics, website design, text, and other Site content are owned by or licensed to Archive Reserve.
You may not reproduce, publish, modify, distribute, sell, or commercially use this content without prior written permission.
12. Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Site and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
Archive Reserve does not guarantee that the Site will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Information on the Site is not legal, tax, investment, appraisal, or financial advice.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Archive Reserve will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of anticipated value, or loss of use.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Archive Reserve’s total liability relating to an item purchased through the Site will not exceed the amount paid to Archive Reserve for that item.
Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot legally be limited.
14. Changes to These Terms
Archive Reserve may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on the Site with a revised effective date.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
