Starring: Jon Hamm (as Don Draper / Dick Whitman)
Item: Original Screen-Used Hero Prop Military Dog Tag
Provenance: Sourced directly from the official studio prop archive.
This is an original, screen-used hero prop military dog tag utilized during the production of the critically acclaimed AMC drama series Mad Men. This specific tag (there were a few of these that they used during production) is the central narrative device that establishes the identity swap between Dick Whitman and Lieutenant Don Draper during the Korean War flashbacks. The metal tag is stamped with the character's true biological name: WHITMAN, RICHARD.
This is a primary, on-screen hero production asset. It is not a retail novelty, commercial replica, or souvenir reprint.

It has been safely held in my production archive ever since we wrapped the show."
